Bye and Big Hug to Peach's D. Arthur

We are so bummed to share that our beloved teammate D. Arthur is moving on from her position at Peach. While we're sad to see her go, we're so grateful for all of the time, labor, and insight she contributed to Peach during her time with us.

D. first got involved with Peach when she performed comedy at Hidden Faces, our New Year's Eve party with Foundlings Press in 2018. She became a contributor to the journal during Season 4 when we published her short story "E. Is for Entertainment, which we later nominated for a 2019 Pushcart Prize.

In the fall of 2019, D. joined our team as our outreach coordinator to assist with communications, events, and administrative work. She helped us find creative new ways to connect with our contributors, readers, and partners, including getting our Bookshop off the ground, developing our monthly e-newsletter, and assisting with the launch of our Patreon. She played a crucial role in event-planning for our Episodes Reading Series, including, most notably, for Cupid's Rejects, our complete banger of an anti-Valentine's Day party with Rise Collaborative in February of 2020. A year after joining us, her role evolved from outreach coordinator to assistant managing editor. She made all of our jobs easier, and was known on the team for her humor and fun spirit. She never missed a movie or game night.

Miss you already, D. Thanks for helping us bring the party this past year and a half.
