Lawrence Edwards (a.k.a. Uptwn Film)  is a film photographer, musician, and educator based in New York City. His photographic work centers on capturing black joy and dreamy landscapes in Uptown Manhattan. He first started photography in high school focusing on wildlife and has since shifted to soft-contrast portraits. Outside of photography, his interests include UX design/Photoshop, skateboarding, and strong espresso.
