Lee Suksi's first book, The Nerves, won a LAMBDA. They are doing drawings, which they've always done.

Stay Mindful

I must confess
I can’t withstand
whoever comes at me brandishing God or fashion
I gulp belief like my sports drink with wings
awash in other lives and their
radiant mistakes

Trampled by racketeers
open as a fishnet
tight, gasping without
cease, blinded,
starving like a hunted chicken, leaning in to feast
on presence, being
present, minute
after minute I AM
totally useless dumb and unyielding in my presence,
mystified, eating their convictions like old meat
