About our Co-Organizer:

Based in Brooklyn and founded in 2017, Triangle House publishes the Triangle House Review monthly and select books rarely.

About the Readers:

Elissa Washuta is a member of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe and a nonfiction writer. She is the author of Starvation Mode and My Body Is a Book of Rules, named a finalist for the Washington State Book Award. With Theresa Warburton, she is co-editor of the anthology Shapes of Native Nonfiction: Collected Essays by Contemporary Writers. She has received fellowships and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, Creative Capital, Artist Trust, 4Culture, and Potlatch Fund. Elissa is an assistant professor of creative writing at the Ohio State University.

Monika Woods is a literary agent, writer, and cofounder of Triangle House. She grew up in Buffalo and lives in Brooklyn with her family.

Rachel Rabbit White is a poet, essayist, and journalist who lives in Brooklyn. Sag sun, Cancer moon, Scorpio rising. Their full length collection of poems, Porn Carnival, will be published by Wonder this fall.

Julia Beck is a senior at Buffalo Seminary and Peach Mag's Season 4 Peach Seed. She was born and raised in Buffalo, and loves poetry, knitting, and doing the most. Her greatest weakness is not being able to say no, which has led her to be president of Buffalo Seminary's Model UN club, Donate Life club, and National Honor Society, as well as captain of her squash and sailing teams. She views poetry as creative catharsis, and is partial to a cheesy limerick. Julia’s most famous poem was a piece written in second grade titled “Heather’s into Leather,” which her mom shared with all of her friends, much to Julia’s dismay (and embarrassment).

Julianne Neely received her MFA degree from the Iowa Writer's Workshop, where she received the Truman Capote Fellowship, the 2017 John Logan Poetry Prize, and a Schupes Fellowship for Poetry. She is currently a Poetics PhD candidate and an English Department Fellow at the University at Buffalo. Her writing has been published in Hyperallergic, VIDA, The Rumpus, The Iowa Review, and more. Her chapbook The Body Beside Herself is out now from Slope Editions.

Rachelle Toarmino is the author of the poetry collection That Ex (Big Lucks Books, 2020) and the chapbooks Feel Royal (b l u s h lit, 2019) and Personal & Generic (PressBoardPress, 2016). Her writing has appeared in McSweeney’s, Metatron Press, Shabby Doll House, and other places online and in print, and anthologized in The Cosmonauts Avenue Anthology and My Next Heart: New Buffalo Poetry. She lives in Buffalo, where she works as the editor in chief of Peach Mag, the communications and development manager of Arts Services Initiative, and a teaching artist at Just Buffalo Literary Center.

Cassie Rose is an artist based in Buffalo, NY. She has spent nearly eight years exploring her artistic craft including time spent in materials exploration at School of Visual Arts in New York City. Beyond the visual arts, she works in costume departments for film and theater. Her focus remains on exploring human experience through the manipulation of different materials.
