1 poem by zach blackwood

gem water is real and it’s good for you

i want to be an oil-slick puddle

you take a big stride and a tiny hop over.

i want to be a cluster of crystals

you sink into

a glass bottle of tap water

so everyone knows

i want to be emma watson in a shy

new role. i want to be the grooves

in her palm, infinity-kissing the bannister.

i want to be a fortune teller i folded for you

every fortune said: run the sword of you

through me so i can feel you

& release you
